WHAT YOU’LL DO
+ **Financial Strategy Development:** Develop and implement financial strategies to support joint ventures and business development initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
+ **Financial Analysis and Reporting:** Oversee financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting for joint ventures, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
+ **Budget Management:** Manage budgets for joint ventures and new business initiatives, ensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
+ **Risk Assessment:** Identify and analyze financial risks associated with joint ventures and business development projects, proposing mitigation strategies.
+ **Collaboration:** Work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, operations, and marketing, to support partnership negotiations and project execution.
+ **Stakeholder Engagement:** Communicate financial performance and insights to internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships with partners and investors.
+ **Compliance and Governance:** Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies related to financial practices in joint ventures.
+ **Financial Planning & Analysis** : Develop and oversee financial models and forecasts to support business development strategies and investment decisions.
+ **Budget Management** : Prepare and manage the annual budget for transmission projects, ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals.
+ **Investment Evaluation** : Conduct detailed financial analyses of potential transmission projects, including cost-benefit analysis, risk assessment, and return on investment calculations.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
**Education** : **Bachelor's Degree** in accounting, business management, finance or related field of study from accredited university or college.
**Experience** : Minimum of **twelve (12) years** **of related experience** with a solid background and related knowledge in the transmission system operations, planning, regulatory, or accounting functions, **including 5 years in a management capacity.** Must have a proven ability to engage team and drive them to seek continuous improvement of processes.
Required License(s)/Certification(s) are listed below: MBA or CPA Preferred
WHAT YOU’LL GET
BASE SALARY: approximately ($156,000 - $202,000/year). In addition to base salary, AEP offers competitive Total Rewards including: discretionary annual and long-term incentives, 401(k), pension, health insurance, vacation, educational assistance, etc.
