CTG is seeking to fill a PeopleSoft FIN BSA opening for our client in San Diego, CA.

Duties:

CTG is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Financials Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with a strong background in healthcare financial operations. This role will serve as a bridge between the Finance department and IT, helping to optimize the use of PeopleSoft Financials in support of core hospital and healthcare business functions. The ideal candidate will bring both PeopleSoft expertise and an understanding of the unique financial and regulatory needs of the healthcare industry.

Key responsibilities include:

+ Analyze and document finance-related business processes within a healthcare setting, identifying opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements.

+ Partner with healthcare finance teams to define and translate business needs into functional requirements for the PeopleSoft Financials application.

+ Provide functional support for key PeopleSoft FIN modules such as:

+ General Ledger (GL)

+ Accounts Payable (AP)

+ Asset Management (AM)

+ Purchasing (PO)

+ Commitment Control (KK)

+ Project Costing or Grants Management (if applicable)

+ Support financial reporting and analysis to ensure compliance with healthcare-specific regulations (e.g., Medicare/Medicaid, HIPAA as applicable to finance data).

+ Facilitate system testing, including functional testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

+ Assist in system upgrades, patches, and configuration efforts related to financial operations in a healthcare environment.

+ Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot issues and implement fixes or enhancements.

+ Prepare and maintain system documentation, training materials, and workflow diagrams.

Skills:

+ Expertise in PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.5x

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across IT and business teams

+ Familiarity with financial processes in healthcare settings

Experience:

+ 5+ years of experience as a BSA or Functional Analyst supporting PeopleSoft Financials

+ Direct experience in a healthcare or hospital environment

+ Experience supporting month-end close, budgeting, and reporting processes

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with PeopleSoft implementations or optimizations in hospitals or healthcare networks

+ Familiarity with healthcare-specific financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements

+ Knowledge of integration points between PeopleSoft FIN and clinical systems, supply chain, or HCM modules

+ Understanding of healthcare grant funding, capital projects, and cost accounting methodologies

+ Experience with tools such as PeopleSoft Query, BI Publisher, or healthcare-specific reporting platforms

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $135,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
