CTG is seeking to fill an Infrastructure Specialist – Cloud Application Operations opening for our client in San Diego, CA.

**Location:** San Diego, CA

**Duration:** 6 months

Duties:

+ Provide operational support and maintenance for cloud-based infrastructure and applications.

+ Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server environments and related services.

+ Configure and support AWS components including Security Groups, Application Load Balancers (ALBs), and Network Load Balancers (NLBs).

+ Administer DNS and IP address management using Infoblox or similar platforms.

+ Implement and support Palo Alto firewall rules and perform basic troubleshooting.

+ Administer Microsoft 365 environments, providing user support and configuration management.

+ Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring proper routing, subnetting, and secure traffic flow.

+ Assist with the development of automation scripts or tools to streamline infrastructure tasks.

Skills:

+ Expertise in Windows Server infrastructure and cloud application operations.

+ Strong knowledge of AWS networking and security components.

+ Proficient with Infoblox or equivalent enterprise DNS/IPAM systems.

+ Practical experience with Palo Alto firewall configuration.

+ Competent in Microsoft 365 administration.

+ Solid understanding of core networking concepts: subnets, routing, firewall policies, and load balancing.

+ Familiarity with scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus.

Experience:

+ Minimum of 3 years in a similar role supporting enterprise IT infrastructure and cloud-based environments.

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00/hour to $120.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
