    **Job Title:** Scanning Operator Level 1

    **Location:** Indianapolis, IN

    **Duration:** Short-term

    **Job Type:** Hourly Consultant

    **Hours:** 8 am to 4:30 pm M-F

    **Pay:** $16/hr to $17.50/hr

     

    Previous Document Prep and scanning experience preferred.

    Essential Functions:

    • Assist with the daily operations of a Digital Imaging Center focused on document scanning and digital imaging

    • Prepare a wide array of customer documents for scanning, including inspecting for physical issues that may complicate the scanning process

    • Operate scanning equipment and perform indexing of scanned images according to naming conventions outlined by the customer or RDIC leadership

    • Perform post-imaging services as needed to meet customer requirements

    • Maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders

    • Handle physical document management tasks such as moving boxes and loading paper into scanning machines

    • Follow confidentiality and security protocols when handling sensitive documents

    • Perform other duties as assigned to meet evolving business needs

    Skills:

    • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks

    • Effective time management and task prioritization skills

    • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset

    • Good problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

    • Ability to handle and manage large volumes of documents with care

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 1 year in a customer service environment

    • Previous experience in data entry, office clerical work, or document imaging preferred

    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and data entry programs

    • Demonstrated ability to follow detailed procedures and meet deadlines

    Education:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required

     

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
