We’re looking for a **Level II Desktop Technician** to join our team.
Job Description** **:
The Level II Tech is responsible for providing onsite support to internal or external customers in resolving complex or escalated technology issues. They ensure the proper day-to-day operation of applications and equipment and troubleshoot on-site software and hardware issues on laptops, desktops, tablets,
smartphones and/or printers. They also may resolve higher level support to servers, and/or network
equipment or perform updates, repairs, upgrades, backups, and other maintenance tasks. As a Level 2 Technician, they may serve as a liaison between customers, departments, and within the organization to lead problem resolution and change management processes. Their work may be more technical in nature and could include more complex tasks, such as performing data transfers or building images.
Responsibilities** **:
+ Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure, dealing with ongoing problems
+ and deadlines.
+ Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware,
+ and computer peripherals.
+ Ability to troubleshoot BSOD
+ Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems.
+ Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures.
+ Requires at least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
+ Expert with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
+ Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
Skills & Qualifications:
+ A+ Certification Required
+ Windows OS knowledge (Windows 10 and Windows 11)
+ Microsoft Office 365
+ Software performance troubleshooting.
+ Familiar with Apple MAC OS
+ Able to support Outlook client – send/receive email issues
+ Able to troubleshoot VPNs
+ Support mobile users for network access, email support, and troubleshooting
+ Able to use image processes to configure clients' desktops and laptops
+ Active Directory knowledge
+ Desktop and Laptop hardware knowledge
+ Driver Updates/driver issue diagnosis
+ Understanding of the Windows 10/11 Boot process
+ Command Line Tools for diagnosing connectivity issues
+ Event Log diagnosis
+ Printer hardware knowledge
+ Able to use remote tools such as RDP, Team Viewer, Windows Assist, LogMeIn Rescue
+ Excellent customer service skills
+ A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
+ Mobile Device Management
+ Able to use ServiceNow or similar ticketing system
Wage Range** **:
The hourly rate for this position is between $17.00 - $24.75 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
