How You'll Create Possibilities
As our Senior Sustainability Specialist, you will:
+ **Shape Our Strategy:** Develop and execute energy reduction strategies, ensuring we meet ambitious sustainability goals.
+ **Champion Energy Efficiency:** Implement energy-saving projects, monitor consumption, and lead awareness programs.
+ **Analyze and Inspire:** Provide deep data analyses, including greenhouse gas calculations, to inspire actionable insights and drive results.
+ **Collaborate Across Teams:** Partner with engineering, utilities, manufacturing, and sourcing leaders to integrate sustainable practices throughout the business.
+ **Stay Ahead of the Curve:** Serve as our subject matter expert by staying informed on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
+ **Engage Stakeholders:** Respond to customer sustainability requests, benchmark against industry leaders, and contribute to external reports on carbon footprint and energy performance.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college in sustainability, business operations, engineering, environmental studies, or related discipline.
• 3-6 years of EHS experience in environmental compliance, pollution prevention, energy services, business operations, and/or sustainability.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization and follow through on commitments.
• Environmental compliance experience.
• Familiarity with the manufacturing environment.
Certified Energy Management
+ Experience with:
+ Energy monitoring systems
+ Motors, plastics, ovens, wash systems, compressed air systems.
+ HVAC systems and basic control concepts.
+ Basic utility bill analysis
+ Energy data processing (e.g., unit conversions, Excel functions like filters, VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
