    Description

    _$44.86 - $56.08 an hour_

     

    + Supervises the personnel assigned to the crew.

    + Submits work and other required reports to the Construction Office on a weekly basis.

    + Interprets construction plans and specifications of the work to be performed.

    + Coordinates workflow with supervisor and engineers.

    + Maintains contact with the Director, Manager, and General Foreman of Construction to advise of progress, problems, and material needs.

    + Understands, follows and enforces safety rules and company policies and promotes good relations with other crew members, patron cooperatives and the public in general.

    + Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    + Handles stress effectively and works well with others.

     

    _Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future._

    Minimum Qualifications

    + **Pursuant to the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act 593, this position is a designated safety-sensitive according to AECC/AECI standards and processes**

    + **As a condition of employment, this position requires a post-offer Fitness for Duty exam, pre-employment drug test and must be able to pass DOT physical.**

    + At least 3 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + Must be able to travel to various locations throughout the state of Arkansas and stay overnight as required to complete work assignments.

    + Must have working knowledge of REA plans and specifications for distribution and transmission and electric system key location maps, DOT regulations, OSHA regulations and State and Federal safety regulations.

    + Valid Driver's License

    + Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and safe driving record

    + Must be able to work in extreme temperatures and at excessive heights.

    + Must have tools and boots required to perform duties and be able to perform routine maintenance on crew vehicles

    + Due to our obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service to our customers, the ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance and the ability to work outside your regularly scheduled hours when necessary is an essential function of the job.
