    _$17.98 an hour - $22.48 an hour_

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Performs and directs the loading of trucks from load schedules provided by the Warehouse Supervisor.

    2. Performs and directs the unloading of all material received.

    3. Checks the accuracy of all material to be shipped as to quantities and item correctness.

    4. Checks received material against the purchase orders for accuracy of item numbers and quantities. Receives material into the management system to update item availability using electronic hand held device.

    5. Performs and directs the handling of transformers ensuring transformers are pulled, adjusted and ready for shipment or storage.

    6. Inspects material to insure there are no transportation damages.

    7. Receives and inspects returned goods and insures said goods are returned to the proper storage area.

    8. Direct and participates in maintaining the warehouse and surrounding yards to create a safe work environment following all safety regulations.

    9. Performs preparation for annual inventories and participates in said inventory and effectively uses and operates in-house computer system.

    10. Performs inventory cycle counts are required.

    11. Investigates problems with discrepancies in inventory counts and reports any problems within the warehouse operations to the warehouse supervisor.

    12. If applicable, will be required to construct meter loops in the Vendor Managed Warehouses.

    13. Makes safety recommendations to the DC Manager and aids in enforcing safety procedures throughout the warehouse operation.

    14. The ability to handle stress and work well with others are essential functions of this position.

    15. Due to our obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service to our customers, the ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance and the ability to work outside your regularly scheduled office hours when necessary is an essential function of the job.

    16. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    High school or GED, plus 3 years related experience in Warehousing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Highly repetitive, low physical. Highly repetitive type of work which requires concentration in the performance of tasks for consistent time cycles as prescribed by the tasks.

     

    While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms; frequently required to talk or hear; and occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds; regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision; peripheral vision; and depth perception.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

    Ability to drive and possess a valid Arkansas driver's license. Be available to work extra hours when necessary and report to work whenever needed during non-working periods. Must have a working knowledge of catalog numbers and transformer final assembly numbers. Must be familiar with OSHA regulation as it relates to warehousing. Must be familiar with freight manifests and other shipping documents. In pursuant of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act 593, this position is a designated safety-sensitive position according to AECC/AECI standards and processes.
