    We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Planning Manager to be in Gurabo, PR!

     

    The Master Production Schedule (MPS) Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the production planning processes within an organization. This role involves strategic planning, coordination with various departments, and ensuring that production targets align with business objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Planning

    + Develop and maintain a master production schedule that meets production and delivery requirements

    + Collaborate with stakeholders to align production schedules with customer demand and inventory levels

    Team Leadership

    + Provide coaching and mentorship to enhance team performance and development

    Production Optimization

    + Analyze production processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    + Work closely with Supply Chain, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination

    Data Analysis and Reporting

    + Monitor production performance metrics and generate reports for senior management

    + Strong Command of integrated Advanced Planning Systems

    Problem-Solving

    + Address production issues proactively and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions

    + Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure equipment reliability

    Inventory Management

    + Coordinate with the inventory management team to maintain optimal inventory levels

    Qualifications:

    Education

    + A minimum of Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s or focus degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, is preferred

     

    Experience and Skills

    Required

    + At least 8 years of Planning experience

    + Experience within the pharmaceutical industry

    + Master Production Planning experience at site level

    + Experience in a managerial role

    + Proficiency in production planning software and tools (e.g., ERP systems)

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Preferred

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

    + Detail-oriented with a strong focus on continuous improvement

    + Strong leadership skills with a commitment to team success

    Other

    + This position requires up to 15% of travel time
