We are seeking a dynamic, results-drivenKey Account Managerwith strong online and digitalexperience in the FMCG industryto join our team and help shape the future of our brand. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, in this exciting role will be you will be at theheart of our digital sales strategy. You'll collaborate closely with our marketing team to lead digital consumer acquisition activities, building brand share online and delivering monthly revenue and spend targets. You will focus on managing and driving our business throughpure play online retailers (Amazon and Pet Circle).Additionally, the role will be responsible fornew business developmentofpure play online retailersto expand our market presence, whilst supporting the account team to deliver compelling online execution in bricks and clicks retailers such asPet Barn and Pet Stock.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Customer Relationship Management: Develop and execute sales strategies for pure play ecommerce and bricks and clicks customers, driving revenue growth, market penetration, and brand advocacy. Manage trade investment with a clear focus on measurable ROI for activations. Build collaborative relationships with category managers and key stakeholders in customer organisations.
+ Sales Strategy Development : Design and implement strategies to drive online sales and achieve revenue targets, identifying new market opportunities and fostering relationships with key online retailers. Build JBPs that deliver ambitious mutual growth targets through excellence in digital execution throughout the value chain, maximizing ROI.
+ Digital Online Execution: Work closely with the marketing team to deliver NPD launches to maximise penetration. Build and execute promotional programs to align with marketing programs and retailer events. Support national promotions and channel activations in bricks and clicks retailers by collaborating with the National Account team on digital activations.
+ New Business Development: Proactively identify and target emerging players in the e-commerce sector, negotiating sustainable trading terms agreements and executing onboarding strategies for sustained sales growth.
+ Ecommerce Expertise: Stay at the fore front of emerging trends in digital and ecommerce. Own the ecommerce strategy for the ANZ business. Impart your knowledge to internal and external stakeholders to improve our market share.
+ Product Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of our product range and industry trends to effectively communicate value to customers.
+ Reporting & Analysis: Monitor and analyse sales performance utilising internal and external data for key accounts, preparing reports, and present insights to the National Sales Manager.

To be successful in this role, you will be an entrepreneurial self-starter with strong industry knowledge, an eye for detail, and a passion for the pet industry. You should also possess:
+ The ability to demonstrate experience in building CPG brands with e-commerce retailers in ANZ or other markets, achieving multi-year share growth on those brands.
+ Minimum of 3 years of key account management experience with a focus on e-commerce, showcasing strong customer relationship skills.
+ Developing, executing and stewarding joint business plans with online retailers.
+ Significant experience in successfully managing the e-commerce channel for an FMCG brand, achieving key performance indicators (KPIs), and driving revenue growth.
+ Proven track record in e-commerce trade marketing, specifically in growing trial, penetration, and brand visibility online.
+ Strong leadership skills with a results-oriented mindset, ensuring successful execution of customer initiatives and exceptional service delivery.
+ Effective communication and collaboration with internal teams, fostering a unified approach that aligns marketing efforts with sales goals.
