Human Resources Generalist (D1001)

*This position is a 1st Shift position: 9 AM - 5:30 PM*

Position Summary

This role is key in fostering a positive workplace environment, enhancing employee experience, and supporting P&E functions related to talent management, recruiting, payroll, and organizational culture.

Duties & Responsibilities:

+ Assist with implementing and administrating policies and programs, including performance review process, attendance management, etc.

+ Support the full-cycle recruitment process for both U.S. manufacturing sites, including applicant tracking, candidate screening, interview coordination, and hiring manager support.

+ Oversee and coordinate temporary staffing needs.

+ Manage and facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding to ensure a positive onboarding experience.

+ Assist in the administration of benefits, assist with open enrollment, conduct orientation, and answer employee questions

+ Maintain and manage regular communication postings to ensure employees stay informed.

+ Plan, coordinate, and schedule employee events, engagement and activities at both U.S. manufacturing sites to enhance engagement and promote volunteer participation.

+ Administer payroll for both US manufacturing sites

+ Other duties as assigned

Safety

+ Completes safety system documentation and verifies compliance with program standards. Reports deviations to the Environmental Health & Safety Manager.

+ Responsible for participating in mandatory safety training program requirements.

+ Required to report all safety issues, near misses, and injuries.

Quality & Food Safety

+ Completes quality and food safety system documentation and verifies compliance with program standards. Reports deviations to the Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager.

+ Responsible for participating in mandatory food safety and quality training program requirements.

+ Preserves the integrity of the BRC system through adherence to the policies and procedures outlined in the Quality Policy Manual. Takes actions necessary to resolve food safety and quality system deficiencies.

+ Required to report food safety and quality system failures and take actions necessary to preserve the BRC system.

+ Ability to work with all levels of employees, from new hires to senior leaders

+ Positive attitude and willingness to learn

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures

+ Strong time management skills

+ Extremely strong ability to maintain confidentiality on all human resource matters

+ Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively in response to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field

+ 2-5 years of work experience in an human resources or administrative position

+ Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Work, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
