RCIS Crop Regulatory Operations & Governance Manager

RCIS (Rural Community Insurance Service), a division of Zurich North America, is currently hiring a Crop Operations Manager. This person can work at either the Anoka, MN office in a hybrid schedule OR remotely for the right candidate.

Accountabilities:

+ Supervise assigned personnel

+ Direct selection, technical training and career development of personnel

+ Administrate and direct operations to provide prompt, accurate and dependable service to customers

+ Direct and conduct audit activities of Crop operations to determine the effectiveness of controls, compliance with management directives, compliance with regulatory requirements and efficiency of operations

+ Implement corrective action on audit findings and for improvement of Crop operational efficiency

+ Identify opportunities and risks associated with changes in internal and external environments by developing and implementing short term and long-term Crop operational goals.

+ Determine staffing requirements

+ Direct the development and maintenance of Crop productivity standards and service schedules.

+ Coordinate workflow schedules

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Operations areaOR

+ High School Diploma or Equivalent and 9 or more years of experience in the Operations areaOR

+ Zurich approved Apprenticeship program including an Associate Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Operations areaAND

+ People management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Strong communication, negotiation and influence skills

+ Strong problem solving and critical analysis skills

+ Project management experience

+ Customer service experience

+ Crop Insurance industry experience

At Zurich, compensation for roles is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. We encourage candidates with salary expectations beyond the provided range to apply as they will be considered based on their experience, skills, and education. The compensation indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $213,000.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 20%.
