    We are seeking applicants for the Maintenance A Technician position in our Jacksonville, FL at corrugated facility located at 659 Eastport Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.

     

    Pay Rate: $31.34-$35.79 per hour ($47.01-$53.69 per hour overtime rate)

     

    Up to 12 hours shift possible

    PCA provides a tool stipend (or replacement) to help technicians maintain basic hand tools. PCA provides all special and heavy tools.

    Responsibilities:

    This position is based at the PCA Box Plant located in Jacksonville, FL.

     

    This position will perform a variety of maintenance tasks including diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and Pneumatic systems on plant equipment.

     

    Technicians work as part of a team to safely perform Preventive Maintenance Activities as well as answer break down calls in a Production Environment.

     

    All Maintenance Technician positions are multi-craft.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    4+ years of experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and/or technical degree in related field.

     

    Must be willing to pursue ongoing technical training to enhance capabilities.

     

    Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.

     

    Ability to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.

     

    Must have own tools.

     

    Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly within the corrugated or packaging industry.

     

    5+ years of practical application experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance functions.
