    Position Description:

    Supports the Unit Manager by performing administrative duties related to planning, directing and coordinating both the academic and operational activities of the program.

    Major/Essential Functions:

    + Responsible for planning, managing, and executing all assigned Continuing Professional Education activities for internal and external departments or organizations

    + Responsible for reviewing, assessing, and approving all recurrent departmental and community partners’ program planning forms

    + Ensures timely coordination of travel arrangements, itineraries, and presentation logistics

    + Collaborate with internal departments to arrange event logistical planning including meeting rooms, meals, sleeping room blocks, and identification of travel arrangement Prepares activity evaluation forms and handout materials and manages printing logistics

    + Oversees the preparation of post-activity documents, including evaluation summaries, attendance lists, reports of outcomes data, and final revenue/expense statement

    + Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes

    + Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSCEP’s values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork)

    + Actively promote and encourage staff across the institution

    + Perform all other duties as assigned

    + Other duties as assigned within the scope of responsibilities

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Previous experience in planning, production, and evaluation of professional education activities

    + Experience with establishing and managing educational activity budgets

    + Experience applying adult learning principles in the design of educational activities

    + Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems; detail oriented with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously

    + Ability to communicate effectively with administrators, clinicians, and colleagues

    + Above average computer skills

    + Exceptional communication skills

    + Computer skills in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint

    + Excellent verbal and writing skills
