SUMMARY
Perform a variety of functions including Supply Chain (SC) for wire and cable cutting/prepping, kitting, and AmphenolCDI processes. However, the Material Handler’s core accountability will be to assist its team in achieving smooth and efficient operations of the SC area with added focus on continued customer service and productivity improvements. Work in a team environment and able to follow direction and processes to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations of AmphenolCDI’s SC department.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
+ Examine work orders requirements to determine required parts and materials
+ Hand count and/or operate weighing scale to ensure proper quantities of parts/material are pulled
+ Cut wire and cable materials to work order requirements
+ Print labels using work order and scanner for appropriate information
+ Detailed knowledge of SFFB, Kent Kitting Application and other material transactions within SAP
+ High degree of accuracy pulling correct material, counting parts, measuring/ cutting material and tying labels
+ Maintain orderly, clean, and safe work area and actively promotes 5S practices
+ Promotes and maintain a positive working environment for the team
+ Computer and keyboarding skills required
+ Using MB51/MMBE/ZMM010/ in SAP to look up history demands
+ Able to operate equipment auto packaging/skin pack
+ Regular and predictable on-site attendance

+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Material handling experience preferred
+ Basic Math Skills
+ Able to communicate effectively and maintain positive relations with internal and external customers

+ Able to handle interruptions and maintain focus
+ Team-oriented individual and willing to work cross functionally in various areas which in SA

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
+ High School Diploma / GED or equivalent.
+ Background in aerospace, defense, or cable assembly industries favored.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
_Must maintain industry certifications as applicable to position and value stream that is supported. Including but not limited to; IPC-WHMA-A-620, IPC-JSTD-001, IPC-610, IPC-600 and NASA 8739_
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
+ Conversational in any other language is a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
As part of their job duties, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk throughout the day while frequently using their hands to handle objects and communicate verbally. Additionally, they may need to reach, stretch, push, pull, crouch, stoop, and occasionally lift objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds. This role requires specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a work environment where employees typically work inside a facility and perform various tasks related to storing, processing, and shipping goods and materials. Some of the everyday activities that a warehouse worker does are preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule, receiving and processing warehouse stock products, performing inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits, keeping a clean and safe working environment, and optimizing space utilization and operating and maintaining warehouse vehicles and equipment.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
+ ASTM F–2412–2005, ANSI Z41–1999, or ANSI Z41–1991 rated safety toe shoes in specific areas.
+ Clear ANSI Z87.1 safety-rated glasses in specific areas.
+ Hearing protection in specific locations.
+ Ability to compile with JSA in specific areas.

SALARY INFORMATION:
According to several states' laws, this position's salary range falls between **$17 - $18.75** hourly. However, this salary information is merely a general guideline.
