Overview
A valid Class B or higher CDL with a passenger endorsement is required for this role. As the senior member of the General Manager's staff, the Assistant General Manager is responsible for organizing and directing the subordinate personnel and all aspects of day to day shuttle operations This position operates directly under the authority of the General Manager and will have authority to manage the operations as needed per the applicable client contract, ABM and local office policies.
**Pay:** 60,000.00 – 70,000.00
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

The list below represents the general responsibilities of the AGM and is not all inclusive:
+ Be responsible in matters normally requiring the decision of the General Manager, to act on his/her behalf should he/she be absent or unavailable. Such actions are to be documented, outlining the incident or subject and the resolution of the problem.
+ Monitor and review on a daily basis all required logs, for completeness and accuracy, assuring that proper accumulation of permanent records is maintained.
+ Monitor and review driver schedules to ascertain that staffing requirements are being maintained and overtime demands are kept minimal.
+ Be responsible for the replacement of personnel losses, through the utilization of the standard hiring practices established, insuring that an adequate staff is maintained.
+ Evaluate the progress of employees within the trainee probationary periods, advising them of areas that need improvement before permanent status can be assigned.
+ Ensure that payroll is prepared and transmitted in an accurate and timely manner.
+ Ensure that any injuries, incidents, accidents, etc. are documented, reported, and processed appropriately.
+ Prepare and maintain Lead Staff schedules to ensure maximum utilization of available personnel. Contemplated changes of shift assignments are to be discussed and mutually agreed upon with the General Manager prior to the initiation of such change.
+ Conduct preliminary investigation on any customer complaint.
+ Conduct preliminary investigation on all matters of discipline.
+ Be familiar with and enforce all policies set forth by the Airport.
+ Respond to airport/client requests as needed and able within the standards of the contract, SOP and operational guidelines.
+ Review weekly attendance reports.
+ Prepare and update Training Manuals for all personnel.
+ Manage the Lytx camera program.
The Operations Manager role is fully onsite with typical work hours being Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm. Weekends and holidays will generally be considered as off days; however, as a member of management the Operations Manager must always be available to respond to the operations via phone, email and/or in-person at all times.
Language Skills:
• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Must possess and utilize effective listening skills.
General Company Requirements:
• Employee must comply with the Company’s management grooming standards and must wear his or her SIDA badge/Airport ID at all times.
• Employee must comply with all guidelines and policies set forth in the ABM Corporation Employee Handbook. These policies include, but are not limited to, the Company’s Zero Tolerance Discrimination and Harassment Policy, Retaliation Policy, Ethics Policy, and Security Policy. Employee must also comply with regulatory agency requirements, including, but not limited to, the ADA, ACAA, DOT, TSA, FAA, and Federal, State, and Local authorities.
**Education** :
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent year for year work experience
Skills / Experience:
• Three or more years supervisory or management experience required. Previous aviation, shuttle or bus operations experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Budgeting, expense control and scheduling experience, a plus.
