    SodexoMagic is the joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Sodexo. This strategic alliance enables us to deliver creative solutions to our clients along with our local partners throughout the communities we serve. For almost 20 years, we have provided top-level food, facilities management and integrated services to corporations, healthcare facilities, K-12 schools, colleges, universities and aviation lounges.

     

    The **Food Operations Manager 2** position is located at **Methodist Hospital in Gary, IN** just minutes away from Chicago, IL. This leader will be responsible for a dynamic group of employees supporting Northlake campuses including 2 coffee shops. The primary schedule is day shift Monday thru Friday.

    What You'll Do

    + have oversight of daily food operations and deliver a high-quality product;

    + achieve company and client financial targets and goals;

    + develop and maintain client and customer relationships;

    + motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly) staff; and/or

    + ensure Sodexo standards are met to include compliance with company food and physical safety programs.

    Qualifications & Requirements

     

    Minimum Education Requirement -Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

     

    Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

     

    Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
