Medical Affairs Data Analyst
The Medical Affairs Data Analyst will work closely with the Field Medical and Headquarters teams to understand business needs and system requirements, develop analytical solutions and support other projects to drive key business processes and decisions for the Medical Affairs function.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Medical Affairs Data Analyst, are to:
+ Develop and implement accurate, consistent, and secure dashboards, applications, or other tools supporting key business processes and decisions;
+ In collaboration with Medical Leadership, implement key performance indicators and metrics for business-critical decisions;
+ Train all relevant stakeholders on the use and functionality of dashboards, applications, or other tools;
+ Leverage strong knowledge of traditional data warehousing, data structures, and tools;
+ Organize data into optimal data structures flexible to cross[1]functional and cross-process data needs in collaboration with US Commercial data stewards;
+ Build strong relationships with stakeholders of all levels of the US Medical team as well as other functions, such as Data Stewards, IT, Governance, Commercial Pharma Analytics, and Global Medical.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline with industry experience;
+ Familiarity with Pharmaceutical business functions;
+ Specific knowledge data analytics visualization software such as Microsoft Power-BI, Tableau, and MicroStrategy;
+ Specific knowledge of data process automation, scheduling, and data architecture using SQL, Python, R, SAS, or other common languages;
+ Familiarity developing and maintaining business tools built in Microsoft PowerApps and navigating data housed in Snowflake;
+ Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills, persuasiveness, and ability to communicate complex analytical approaches to all levels of business leadership;
+ Demonstrated innovative solutions and self-lead discoveries of new technologies;History of meeting tight deadlines and providing accurate estimates of time required to complete complex tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ 5 years of industry experience.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $125,246 to $187,869. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
