    Digital Transformation Lead Myerstown

    Position Overview:

    As the Digital Transformation Lead at the Myerstown site, you are at the forefront of revolutionizing our value-chain through a compelling digital vision and program delivery of data and technology strategies. Your role is crucial in improving organizational and operational effectiveness, prioritizing digital initiatives, and realizing business benefits that enhance customer and company value. You are an inspiring evangelist, deeply passionate about technology, and possess strong networks in innovative technologies within the industry. Leading Myerstown as a Factory of the Future Division Flagship, you hold full accountability for the efficient operation, maintenance, and validation of local manufacturing IT systems. Your leadership fosters high-performing teams, guided by Bayer's Dynamic Shared Ownership (DSO) principles, ensuring the creation and execution of a 3+ year site digital master plan that translates strategy into business needs and financial investments.

    YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Own the digital strategy and roadmap for the site, ensuring alignment with business directions and significant impact on organizational capability, customer experience, and financial ROI;

    + Evaluate modern markets and key technologies to incorporate into the site's digitization strategy;

    + Co-create strategic plans with site leadership to enhance digital acumen and adoption of digital solutions;

    + Align priorities with Bayer Enterprise IT portfolio and investments to support the site's vision;

    + Develop integration strategies between site Operations Assets Control Systems and Enterprise platforms;

    + Lead Factory of the Future programs and projects, leveraging enterprise capabilities and resources;

    + Simplify IT application landscape and ensure adherence to Enterprise IT standards;

    + Collaborate with site Capital Engineering and oversee financials for digital investments and operations;

    + Evaluate Cyber Security maturity and define robust strategies to mitigate risks;

    + Translate digital roadmap into concrete projects and initiatives, driving change management across the site;

    + Ensure high availability and efficient operation of IT Applications, integrating with ERP/PCS systems;

    + Develop digital learning platforms to enhance employee digital acumen and data analytics capabilities;

    + Implement and test manufacturing IT emergency and contingency plans, supporting security assessments;

    + Provide expert business analysis to identify opportunities for digitalization and improved user experience;

    + Act as VACC (Visionary, Architect, Coach, Catalyst) to build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team;

    + Ensure cGMP compliance for all Digital Systems and processes, maintaining regulatory standards;

    + Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration and collaboration across all functions.

    WHO YOU ARE:

    Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Science, Business Administration, or equivalent qualifications;

    + Experienced in multidisciplinary project management, engineering, manufacturing, data science, and change management in FDA-regulated environments;

    + Customer focus, business acumen, and domain expertise in the consumer health industry;

    + Experience implementing new technologies and working in data and analytics-driven organizations;

    + Several years of experience in manufacturing facilities IT/business functions and agile environments;

    + Demonstrated VACC skills in leading teams and multi-functional collaboration;

    + Multifunctional experience in complex engineering and manufacturing management in consumer or pharmaceutical industries;

    + Proven track record in successful organizational transformation and change management initiatives;

    + Excellent project management skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams and complex projects;

    + Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with strong initiative;

    + Communication, organization, and influencing skills, with strategic and innovative mindset;

    + Entrepreneurial drive and ability to achieve goals in fast-paced environments;

    + Problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with data-driven decision-making abilities;

    + Passionate about technology and data analytics, with practical application skills;

    + Strong strategic thinking and business insights;

    + Exceptional people leadership and team-building skills, inspiring and motivating others;

    + Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, engaging effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners;

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10+ years’ experience or Master’s degree with a minimum of 8+ years preferred;
