This individual will be responsible for leading operational readiness throughout the new product development lifecycle. This role plays a pivotal part in influencing product design for manufacturability, ensuring cost-efficiency, quality, and ease of assembly, while meeting all product requirements.
The Sr. Manufacturing Engineer will engage with cross-functional NPD teams from the early planning stages through to production launch. In addition to supporting new product introductions, the position may also contribute to sustaining engineering initiatives. This role is instrumental in developing robust, lean manufacturing processes and supporting the setup of efficient production lines in collaboration with site manufacturing engineers.

+ Bridge communication between R&D and manufacturing sites, ensuring alignment on manufacturing requirements
+ Lead project planning with manufacturing locations to define operational needs including capacity, space, processes, and capital investments
+ Design and implement lean manufacturing lines using principles such as single-piece flow, standard work, kanban, and playbooks
+ Develop advanced manufacturing processes that ensure capability, repeatability, and reproducibility in production
+ Lead and facilitate Process Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (PFMEAs) to proactively identify and mitigate process risks
+ Establish effective process controls and employ poka-yoke (mistake-proofing) techniques to ensure quality and efficiency
+ Operate with minimal supervision, taking ownership of broad-scope engineering tasks requiring sound judgment and project planning
+ Other duties as assigned
