Summary You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Submarine and Maritime Industrial Operations Department of NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support. These vacancies reside under the Maritime Industrial Support Division under the Submarine, Surface and Projects Branch. Responsibilities You will support the end-to-end supply chain mission by executing logistical support functions and tasks for assigned materials, systems, platforms, and/or objects. You will develop supply support obstacles by identifying contracts that require priority attention, following with responsible parties to resolve technical challenges, and developing acquisition strategies to optimize delivery schedules. You will coordinate, monitor, assess, and analyze supplier performance. You will generate data required to perform complex analyses and develop detailed written reports and briefs. You will serve as a liaison to other Navy commands to develop teams and address supply chain issues. You will review and follow policies and procedures for assigned programs and projects. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Supporting submarines and maritime industrial maintenance availabilities to achieve positive supply action on material requirements. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing logistics program planning policies and procedures to execute supply chain management processes and procedures; 2) Employing supply chain management processes, procedures and tools to enhance availability of materials and supplies for accomplishment of maintenance projects; 3) Analyzing and evaluating logistics data to coordinate supply support for assigned systems, equipment and platforms; 4) Formulating provisioning plans, schedules and supply support programs.
