**Schedule:** _Full-Time_

**Shift** : _**Academic responsibility will be 30-32 hours a week, position supports time to maintain clinical practice._

The role you’ll contribute:

Participates in mission of the Nurse Anesthesia Department and development, implementation, and evaluation of the Nurse Anesthesia didactic and clinical curriculum. Responsible for teaching theory and clinical within the Nurse Anesthesia program, supervision and evaluation of student progress in the classroom, clinical, and laboratory setting. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

+ **Consults with Department Chair to recommend budget request(s) that assures adequate resources to support nurse anesthesia faculty and preceptors.**

+ **Supervises clinical nurse anesthesia faculty and preceptors. Develops, reviews, and revises nurse anesthesia policies and procedures.**

+ **Identifies and recommends to Nurse Anesthesia Department Chair appropriate nurse anesthesia faculty for employment. Identifies and recommends to Nurse Anesthesia Department Chair appropriate clinical faculties and community agency linkages for student learning experiences.**

+ **Doctorate Required**

+ **3 Related Experience Required**

+ **Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Required**

+ **Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Required**
