This recruitment offers a $10,000 Signing Bonus to eligible new employees joining UW Medicine** **Harborview Medical Center** has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time **Assistant Nurse Manager (RN3)** to join our **STD Clinic.** **WORK SCHEDULE:

+ 100% FTE, 40 hours per week

+ Day Shift **DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:**

The Sexual Health Clinic is a Public Health-Seattle & King County service that provides confidential STD and HIV evaluation, screening, testing and treatment on a sliding-fee scale. The clinic can be accessed on a walk-in basis.

+ Opportunity to provide career growth. **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Assume responsibility and accountability for the care and education of patients and direct and provide care to these patients in collaboration with other health care team members

+ Make independent judgments/decisions and takes action regarding a wide range of routine and complex staffing issues

+ Collaborate with appropriate disciplines to coordinate continuity of patient care from admission through discharge in support of the medical and nursing plans of care

+ Perform specific leadership functions related to clinical practice, education, and/or management as delegated by and in collaboration with the Nurse Manager

+ Patient placement and preceptor responsibility

+ Provide leadership for unit and departmental activities that promote: delivery of quality nursing care, effective problem solving and communication and continued professional development for self and others **REQUIREMENTS:**

+ Active, valid Washington State or Multi-State RN license required by start date

+ Two years of professional nursing experience

+ Expertise in sexually transmitted infections and caring for LGBTQ+ and other marginalized populations, with an understanding in the pathogenesis, treatment, risk mitigation and prevention strategies of gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis and HIV **ABOUT HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER**
