Ford Powertrain Mounts team is looking for an experienced mounts Core and Attribute engineer with Design and Release background to deliver PT mounts designs that meet all component, system and vehicle level requirements and Attributes.
With your creative and analytical mind, you will use key insights to identify opportunities while leading the mount design and delivery for our future global vehicle programs. As a team player, you will create impact by collaborating across the Ford organization and with key cross functional teams throughout the company.
What you'll do...
+ Lead PT Mounts Attribute programs working with vehicle Engineering NVH/Dynamics, Road loads, vehicle Architecture and supplier to create and develop mounts Attribute spec doc with timely Attribute milestone sign off and delivery meeting all mounts Attribute requirements.
+ Author mounts core and Attribute process documents and lead core activities development in the PT Mounts team and provide core support to global mount teams.
+ Support Application engineer for ICE/BEV/HEV mounting system architecture assumptions and development along with vehicle architecture and engineering team.
+ Lead discussion with supplier to meet Mount spec targets with supplier FEA, prototype and production parts data.
+ Deliver PT mount designs that meet system and vehicle requirements for safety, durability, package, NVH, shift quality, vehicle dynamics, Vehicle Operations, and service.
+ Lead and deliver efficient and cost-effective mount design working with Application team, and cross functional teams and suppliers.
+ Capture lessons learned/PRA and develop updated test plans, requirements, and specifications.
+ Must be able to incorporate the business/timing aspects of decisions into the technical aspect.
+ Generate and implement cost/weight reduction ideas while maintaining functional requirements and Support implementation of cross carline TVM actions.
You'll have...
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or similar.
5+ years of Design, Release, Attribute/Core experience in PT Mounts system or related experience.
1+ years of CAE experience in the following fields: durability analysis, NVH/modal analysis.
1+ years of experience with application of FEA techniques to design (linear and non-linear).

Master of Science in Engineering or similar.
Experience in interaction with Durability, Road loads, NVH and vehicle dynamics.
Team player who is result oriented and can work effectively with cross functional teams for attribute trade-offs.
Knowledge and Experience in Problem solving tools.

This position is a range of salary grades **SG5-SG8** .
