The Associate Experience Senior Program Manager plays a critical role in shaping the employee experience at Nelnet by overseeing the resourcing, coordination, and execution of all growth, connection, and recognition programs for associates. Acting as a central point of alignment, this role ensures streamlined operations, optimizes workflows, and drives efficiency to maximize program impact. In partnership with the Director of Associate Experience, this role assists in shaping overarching strategy while ensuring seamless execution across initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Execution & Optimization:** **Oversee resource allocation, execution timelines, and project plans for all Associate Experience programs, ensuring the successful execution of initiatives that align with strategic priorities. Leverage insights from dashboards and analytics to guide decisions, assess program effectiveness, and communicate impact to stakeholders. Manage the entire associate lifecycle, ensuring a seamless experience from onboarding through to offboarding, with a focus on continuous feedback, growth, and ideation to drive long-term success.
Operational Leadership:** **Drive team organization and efficiency by establishing clear processes, optimizing workflows, and maintaining visibility across all initiatives. Lead segment-specific Associate Experience teams (AEX), fostering collaboration and alignment across Nelnet’s business segments (NBS, NRE, NDS, and Corporate Shared Services). Partner closely with the Director of Associate Experience to streamline communication and execution, ensuring cross-functional integration of employee experience initiatives.
Hands-On Project Management:** **Take charge of high-impact initiatives, stepping in as the primary project manager for large-scale efforts requiring cross-functional collaboration. As part of the project execution, craft and implement clear and compelling communications that keep stakeholders informed, driving transparency and engagement across the organization. Champion the Employee Communication Committee (ECC) to strengthen internal communications and enhance associate engagement.
Data-Driven Decision Making:** **Utilize analytics and data-driven insights to assess the success of programs, refine strategies, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Build and manage dashboards that track performance and identify areas for improvement, empowering the team to make informed decisions.
Executive & Cross-Segment Collaboration:** **Work alongside the Director of Associate Experience as a trusted thought partner to shape and execute the Associate Experience strategy. Coordinate efforts between various segments of the organization, ensuring seamless integration and alignment of employee experience initiatives. Collaborate closely with leadership and teams to foster a culture of feedback, continuous improvement, and growth across all levels of the organization.
Stakeholder Engagement:** **Drive collaboration across the Associate Experience team, ensuring that programs are executed effectively and deliver enterprise-wide impact. Lead efforts to solicit, listen to, and act on feedback, ensuring that the Associate Experience evolves in response to the needs of the workforce.
Salary range for this role is : $110,000- $115,000
