The Raytheon Software Engineering Team is looking for a **Senior** **Full Motion Video (FMV) Software Developer** . As the **FMV SW Developer** you will work as part of a scrum team in an agile development environment to develop and sustain the operational code base. This is an onsite role based in Richardson ,TX.

What You Will Do

+ This position will support the sustainment and modernization of a FMV video streaming capability supporting a large quantity of simultaneous video streams.

+ This individual will implement and maintain the processing, remediation, and routing of video streams to support a key real-time mission capability as part of an Agile development team.

+ The individual will be expected to interact with the operations team and other programs to identify root cause and support resolution of issues discovered with the FMV capabilities in operations.

+ Obtain and maintain SCI program access and **complete polygraphs** .

Qualifications You Must Have

+ Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of experience.

+ Experience with Java and C++.

+ Experience with networking including TCP and UDP protocols.

+ Experience with MPEG-2 or other FMV transport streams (H.264, H.265, MPEG-4)

+ Experience with KLV (key length value) metadata and MISB standards.

+ Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI prior to start date.

Qualifications We Prefer

+ Experience/Exposure to Moving Target Indicator (MTI) formats and data

+ Experience with GStreamer, FFMPEG, or other video libraries

+ Experience or familiarity with Agile development methodologies

+ Strong written and verbal communication

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively diagnose and address issues

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
