Job Overview
Fairview is looking for a Floor Care Specialist for Ridges Hospital located in Burnsville, MN! The schedule for this position is **80 hours per a 2-week period** on the Evening Shift and is **benefit eligible!**
Schedule
The schedule is **4:00pm - 12:30am** . **This position works every other weekend**
Responsibilities
+ Keeps assigned areas clean, sanitary, and organized by scrubbing, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, glass cleaning, and restroom cleaning according to housekeeping procedures and policies
+ Cleans, refinishes and maintains floors in the facility with efficiency
+ Burnishing and cleaning carpets using floor care equipment efficiently
+ Assists the linen department when needed in a timely manner
+ Assists with housekeeping duties when needed
+ Actively participates in building and implementing improvements to achieve clinical happiness and efficient outcomes
Qualifications
Preferred
+ Experience using heavy floor equipment
+ Stripping and waxing floors
+ Must be proficient in reading, writing and speaking the English language.
Desired Skills:
+ Requires ability to work with a team and independently
+ Desire to learn and craft a fun work atmosphere
Additional Requirements:
+ Ability to clean using repetitive motions, reach above shoulders, stoop and bend at knees, and ability to lift 50 lbs. unaided
