The Opportunity:

We are seeking a System Engineer who will enhance, implement, and sustain boundary solutions that provide security boundaries between all networks of the Government customer to include partners. Be part of our Network Security Implementation & Sustainment (NSIS) effort to implement scalable, manageable, and assured boundary enhancement processes based on industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
+ Guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility activities
+ Integrate Cisco ISE with other security platforms and network devices
+ Provide advanced technical support for network infrastructure issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions
+ Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations
+ Configure and implement various LAN technologies, including VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP)
+ Participate with system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
+ Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives
+ Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as system engineering plans, initial capabilities documents, requirements specifications, and interface control documents
+ Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) – Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Service-oriented Architecture (SOA), etc.
+ Assist with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components
+ Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations
Qualifications:
_Required:_
+ Bachelor’s Degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Will consider demonstrated system engineering experience (5 years) in lieu of degree.
+ 2 or more years of experience with implementation and with Protection Level (PL) 3 high/high solutions utilizing Layer 2 to Layer 7 in a CNO environment
+ Demonstrated experience with troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to Cisco ISE deployments
+ Knowledgeable with integration of Cisco ISE with other security platforms and network devices
+ Skill providing technical support for network infrastructure issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions
+ Experience with configuration and implementation various LAN technologies, including VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP)
+ Experience implementing and enforcing network security policies, including firewall rules
+ Skill conducting network vulnerability assessments and implement remediation strategies
+ Security+ Certification
+ Current and active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
_Desired:_
+ Network Design & Architecture: Participate in the design and architecture of scalable, resilient, and secure network solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices
+ Cisco ISE Experience:
+ Design, configure, and implement Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) authorization, and accounting policies
+ LAN/WAN Configuration & Implementation:
+ Design, configure, and implement WAN solutions, including VPNs (IPsec, SSL)
+ Cisco Nexus Switch Management:
+ Configure and manage Cisco Nexus series switches (e.g., 9000, 5000 series) for data center and campus environments
+ Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting on Nexus platforms
+ Work collaboratively with other IT teams, including server, security, and application teams, to deliver integrated solutions

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$60,600 - $121,200
