    KBR Wyle Services, LLC. is seeking a highly motivated Facility Security Officer (FSO), Lead Specialist to join the team in Beavercreek, OH.

     

    The FSO is part of a talented security team that performs job responsibilities necessary to support the organization. The FSO defines methods to accomplish tasks, develop schedules and complete tasks on time. Responsibilities also include defining, developing, and documenting new processes as the department and the company evolve. The FSO is capable of leading teams and projects and provides leadership to more junior team members.

     

    The FSO implements the industrial security program and ensures company and customer security requirements are met. The FSO requires broad knowledge in all disciplines of the industrial security field. This position will be required to interface with all levels of department, division and government management personnel and maintain the skills to cultivate relationships for optimal contract security performance.

    Responsibilities will include:

    + Manage all aspects of the security program for the facility and the programs operating within the facility (Physical security, Personnel security, Document control, Program security, Visitor Control, etc.).

    + Interface with government security agencies/personnel

    + Advise internal program managers on security matters

    + Contribute to the development of internal security policies and procedures across the corporate enterprise

    + Understanding and knowledge of certification and maintenance of FCL, Closed-Areas, and Restricted Areas.

    + Ability to pass, verify, and receive clearances confirming security eligibility

    + Oversee physical security of the facility, to include badging, visitor processing, access control and onsite security activities.

    + Conduct onboarding and out-processing of team members.

    + Conduct internal self-inspections and assist with Customer Security Assessments

    + Maintain and update security databases

    + Maintain tracking records and filing systems

    + Solve complex problems

    + Ability to manage projects and ensure they are accurate and completed on time

    + Ability to define new methodology to complete tasks

    + Develop project schedule/timeline

    + Participate in solving group problems

    + Prioritize and self-manage work with minimal supervision

    + Define, develop, and document new processes as needed

    + Multi-task a variety of complex and in-depth tasks

    + Analyze situations and uses good judgment

    + Understand company and customer requirements

    + Protect corporate sensitive data

    + Support team innovation and generate new ideas

    + Seek development feedback and shows initiative by working to develop new skills

    Required Skills and Experience:

    + Top Secret clearance required

    + 6+ years of experience working in a security department and for security programs

    + Proven experience managing security program for a medium/large sized facility

    + Working knowledge of government security policies and regulations (i.e. NISPOM, ICDs, etc.).

    + In-depth knowledge in the preparation and maintenance of prime and subcontract DD254

    + In-depth knowledge of DoD systems to include DISS, NISS, NBIS and SWFT.

    + Obtains and maintains FSO Program Management for Possessing facilities certification.

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills; be a self-starter with initiative to work independently and interact with personnel and government customer

    + Ability to work individually and as part of a team in a diverse, rapidly changing environment

    + Ability to work with limited direction and handle multiple projects on short timelines

    + Demonstrated leadership abilities in a fast-paced multi-compartmented work environment

    + Capability to prepare reports and briefings

    Work Environment:

    + Location: Onsite

    + Travel Requirements: Minimal, up to 20%

    + Working Hours: Standard

    Basic Compensation:

    The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s work location, knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience, contract affordability and in consideration of internal parity.

    Additional Compensation:

    KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
