    Manufacturing Technician I and II is responsible for the compliant execution of the manufacturing process strictly adhering to cGMP; environmental health and safety guidelines; and any other related regulations which could apply. Under the general direction of the supervisor, this position shall be responsible for the hands-on execution of all activities in the production area. Activities include manual tasks and operation of automated equipment. In addition to making routine revisions to documents, technician may rewrite complex procedures or initiate new procedures as applicable.

     

    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Operational Excellence (OPEX) team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement within the pharmaceutical industry. The intern will support various OPEX initiatives aimed at enhancing system stability, improving organizational efficiency, and driving continuous improvement across multiple platforms.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Training Support: Assist in the improvement and delivery of White Belt, Yellow Belt, and Lean Leadership Boot Camp trainings.

    • Data Entry: Support OPEX colleagues with data entry on diagnostic events and cost improvement projects.

    • Project Management: Provide support in planning, executing, and monitoring program activities, including tracking project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.

    • Visual Factory and Organization: Improve the use and organization of various tools used in all multiple departments.

    • Data Analysis: Assist with the generation of regular reports on data analysis in support of multiple projects.

    Qualifications:

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    • Proven leadership skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    • Basic understanding of project management principles.

    • Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Must be enrolled in a degree program during the Spring term preceding the internship.

    • Completion of at least one year of undergraduate studies with a 3.0 GPA or higher.

    • Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.

    • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen.

    • Must be available to accompany colleagues on business travel (up to 25%).
