It lies along the Minnesota Rivera. LeSuuer is home to a historic downtown, variety of housing, great school district, fishing, apple orchard and friendly community Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: Keeps equipment and working areas in processing department clean and orderly by performing the following duties. Qualifications DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with co-workers and management. Ability to work in a team environment with little or no supervision in order to get the department sanitation completed before the start of production. Maintains regular and consistent attendance in relation to production scheduling and or time volunteered for. Cleans lint, dust, oil, egg and grease from machines, overhead pipes, floors and conveyors. Cleans screens and filters on egg wash tanks and or ventilation systems as needed. Scrubs egg wash tanks as needed. Washes walls, ceiling, windows, door panels and sills, floors, machines, packers, edible buckets, totes. Transports trash and waste to disposal area. Maintains sanitation in the warehouse picking up debris, refuse, etc. Operates industrial truck to transport materials within plant as needed if licensed to do so. Starts pumps to force cleaning solution through production machinery. Position routinely requires the use of chemicals to clean equipment and related items. This will involve knowing (through training) what chemicals are used for what items and how. As well as how to properly mix them as it relates to applicable mixing ratios. Follows MSDS program. Informs supervisor of cleaning supply needs. Follows LOTO procedures. Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP’s, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety. safety guidelines for forklift and mule including pre shift inspections and operational safety. Perform other duties as assigned. The pay range for this position is $19.00 to $23.00 per hour.
