Inventory Optimization
+ Drive activities at AW sites to improve performance on Days Inventory On Hand (DIO) while maintaining customer On Time Delivery
+ Monitor and analyze inventory performance and recommend corrective actions when required
+ Drive organizational and process rigor around SIOP and inventory optimization
+ Develop inventory optimization strategy including inventory segmentation
+ Lead and/or sponsor ad hoc projects that are analyzing and developing insights and recommendations that will drive inventory optimization across the business segment
+ Continuously improve and standardize inventory optimization policies, processes, and tools, including automated and integrated solutions specifically tailored to Xylem’s product mix
+ Monitor and analyze delivery reliability and forecast accuracy and recommend corrective actions when required
+ Generate business insights and data visualizations to quantify optimization opportunities and to measure effectivity of improvement implementations
+ Intermediary between IT and Operations to solve Operational issues, leveraging existing tools within Xylem and/or weighing the cost and benefits of new tools
+ Partner with plant leadership to coach, train and help implement tools, corrective actions, and/or process changes
+ Evangelize and be the SME for latest tools and technology that can be implemented to achieve inventory goals
+ Provide support and knowledge for supply chain staff development through education, training, coaching and mentoring
+ Work effectively across plants and functions to deliver inventory objectives
Strategy
+ Coordinate Applied Water Inventory strategic reviews including systems and related processes
+ Benchmark Xylem against competitors on Operational KPIs
+ Research market conditions and customer segmentation to support business case development
Project Management & Other functions
+ Lead inventory optimization projects in operations, distribution or commercial environments as assigned
+ Crosstrain, Backup and temporarily replace members of the SIOP group as required
Required Skills / Education / Qualifications
+ Strong academic track record at university in related field (e.g. engineering, supply chain, finance)
+ Minimum 3+ years relevant supply chain experience for a Global international company
+ APICS Certification (or comparable)
+ Demonstrated Leadership & Strategic development
+ Excellent English skills and other languages is a plus
+ Knowledge and experience of lean manufacturing, CI, and/or six sigma tools & concepts
+ Excellent analytical and presentation skills
+ Highly proficient in Excel
+ Ability to translate business and financial goals into action plans
+ Ability to communicate effectively at all levels from manufacturing floor to Executive
+ Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a rapidly changing stressful environment
+ Change agent and ability to think creatively and look forward
+ Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams with proven abilities to influence others

Salary range:
$93,900.00 - $169,000.00
