    Key Responsibilities

    As a Prep Cook, where you'll be an integral part of the culinary team, supporting the preparation of high-quality food for Chicago Bears games, Chicago Fire matches, concerts, and other premier events.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Prepare and portion ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and measuring seasonings, to support kitchen operations.

    + Assist with the preparation of menu items, such as sauces, sides, and salads, according to chef instructions and established recipes.

    + Maintain clean and organized workstations, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

    + Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food production.

    + Monitor inventory levels of prepared items and communicate replenishment needs to supervisors.

    + Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc.

    + Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.

    + Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.

    + Show up to work as schedule indicates.

    Requirements:

    + Must hold a current ServSafe Food Handling Certification.

    + Previous experience in a professional kitchen or food preparation role is preferred.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.

    + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

    + Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift for periods of six to ten hours at a time.

    + Knowledge of health and safety rules in kitchen

    + Knife skills are preferred
