    Job Title: Production Assistant - Poultry

     

    Reports to: Meat Manager, Assistant Meat Manager, Team Leader

     

    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

     

    Part-Time Hourly $16.50

    Job Summary:

    Chicken Production Assistants prepare, package, and label product for display and sale

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Review production plan

    + Execute production based on established guidelines

    + Package and label poultry products for display

    + Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations

    + Assist in other duties, as assigned

    Education and Experience (include knowledge, skills and abilities):

    + Entry level position; no prior experience required

    + Great customer service

    + Good oral communication

    + Safely use/operate meat wrapper

    Working Conditions:

    + Position requires frequent walking, squatting, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting, with a maximum weight of 100 lbs.

    + Position may require repetitive use of hands
