Job Description

SCC Analysts are responsible for monitoring all US Bank, and U.S. Bancorp systems worldwide from the Security Control Center. The environment can be fast-paced requiring the individual to coordinate company resources and outside agencies (Police, Fire, EMS, and Guard Services). Individuals must be detail-oriented, adaptable to changing circumstances, and possess the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time. Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to achieve and maintain control of stressful situations are required. Good customer service abilities as well as good written and interpersonal communication skills are essential. The position requires a basic knowledge of computers, basic typing skills, and the ability to work both independently and as a team. Other desirable qualifications include security/law enforcement-related experience, central alarm monitoring/dispatch center experience, and a basic understanding of banking and property management operations.

Essential functions:

1. Alarm monitoring and equipment maintenance. Monitor and respond appropriately to alarm signals to include fire, life safety, intrusion, and asset protection, and provide direction as necessary coming from Pacom and Genetec systems. Then effectively documenting and communicating those interactions to the appropriate parties.

+ Coordinate response with relevant internal or external agency to provide ongoing protection of U.S. Bancorp customers, personnel and assets. Process communications from internal personnel, law enforcement agencies and U.S. Bancorp employees, customers and vendors. Assistance with and document alarm testing of U.S. Bank alarms as needed.

+ Assist alarm system users and technicians in the field in the use and testing of these systems and identify potential service or training issues and escalate to the appropriate person for resolution. Interact closely with all Corporate Real Estate divisions, i.e.: Senior Management, Investigations, Guard Services, Facilities, and Engineering. Serve as intermediary to channel communications between internal business lines and Corporate Security and Real Estate staff.

+ Place security service calls for all U.S. Bancorp facilities. The Analyst dispatches the appropriate vendor for the problem and interacts with them as needed to help identify the issue.

2. Incident response. Utilize tools provided, such as the Enterprise Notification System to alert employees of incidents that could impact safety or business operations. Escalating any situation per appropriate criteria in a timely manner to ensure employee life-safety and to come to a resolution of any emergency issues. After the resolution Providing written documentation, using good grammatical form and appropriate style, to express ideas in a thorough and concise manner.

3. Operate a variety of computer systems, and be familiar with various software packages such as Microsoft Office, Windows NT and other proprietary software packages.

4. Adapt to changes or problems that may be encountered while performing routine daily activities. Using critical problem solving skills while using resources to come to educated conclusions.

5. Other miscellaneous tasks that may be assigned to help the overall organization protect any person, property or asset.

Basic Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Typically less than one year of applicable experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

+ Security/law enforcement and/or military

+ Central alarm monitoring/dispatch center experience

+ Previous banking and/or property management operations

+ Call center and/or customer service experience

+ Basic understanding of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends

+ Well-developed analytical skills

+ Ability to research and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

+ Strong PC skills, particularly word processing, spreadsheet, databases, and presentations

+ Effective interpersonal and written communication skills

*Schedule:

+ There are multiple shifts that may be avaibale for this role. Days may vary but times are typically: Days Shift 8am - 430pm CT, Swing Shift 3:30pm - Midnight CT and Third Shift 1130pm - 8am CT.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $24.18 - $32.21 - $35.43
