    The IT Business Senior Analyst/SAS programmer is an intermediate-level position responsible for intake of functional requirements from business and IT users and develop reports/processes using SAS to deliver these requirements. He/she will also act liaison between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to deliver reports and processes required for conversion/onboarding, deconversion and remediation activities as well as for maintenance/BAU activities.

    Responsibilities:

    + Ensure that requirements received from business and IT users are complete and accurate and convert these into technical requirements.

    + Develop SAS programs/codes as well as Unix scripts and/or Mainframe JCLs to implement requirements received from business.

    + Coordinate/collaborate with project teams to develop technical requirements for projects including conversion/onboarding and deconversion.

    + Provide programming support for the delivery of information and reports for remediation activities as well as maintenance/BAU activities.

    + Ensure that the team’s information/data transfers with both internal and external customers follow the company’s information/data security guidelines.

    + Identify and communicate risks and impacts, considering business implications of the application of technology to processes being developed/implemented.

    + Act as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts and work as a team to achieve business objectives, performing other duties and functions as assigned

    + Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

    + Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.

    + Acts as SME to business users as well as other IT users.

    + Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

    Qualifications:

    + 5 years of SAS programming experience preferably in the financial industry

    + Intermediate working knowledge of SAS, Unix Scripts, Mainframe JCLs, Network Data Mover (NDM)

    + Experience in data analysis with intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills

    + Proven interpersonal, data analysis, diplomatic, management and prioritization skills

    + Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication

    + Proven ability to manage multiple activities and build/develop working relationships

    + Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly

    + Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail

    Education:

    + Bachelor's degree/University degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics) or equivalent experience
