    Positions details:

    + **Location:** BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel – Medical/Surgical ICU – Wesley Chapel, Florida

    + **Status:** Full Time

    + **Shift:** Varies

    + Occasional weekend requirement

    + Exempt from overtime

    + **On Call:** No

    + Always in person

    Requirements:

    + RN (Registered Nurse) License

    + Bachelor's Degree in Nursing OR Higher

    + 2-years' RN experience in the ICU in an Acute Care setting

    + BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association

    + Preferred experience - 1 year of Nursing Leadership

    + Preferred certification - CCRN

    The **Assistant Nurse Manager – ICU** responsibilities and skills:

    + Proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective management skills

    + Supports the Nurse Manager in a supervisory capacity while managing team member and patient care issue

    + Ongoing team member performance appraisal and the hiring, counseling and terminating process

    + Acts as a role model for other team members and the communication of organizational information

    + Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
