    Job Overview

     

    Komatsu is currently in the process of searching for a qualified and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our dedicated Longview Operations Accounting team.     Key Job Responsibilities

     

    Support the month-end and quarterly closing process, including performing journal entries and

    Balance Sheet reconciliations

    • Process invoices for Longview and Portland including research of discrepancies

    • Perform cash application, deposits, and cash posting transactions for Longview and Portland

    • Handle A/R, including collections and related A/R journal entries

    • Handle A/P & GRIR related transactions

    • Generate and send monthly statements for intercompany and external customers

    • Research collection records and aged accounts

    • Generate and send monthly statements for intercompany and external customers

    • Support internal and external audit engagements and processes

    • Maintain procedures and Work Instructions in your area of responsibility

    • Maintain customer master files

    • Other duties as needed

    Qualifications/Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree in accounting. CPA and/or CMA are a plus.

     

    • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

     

    experience is a plus
