Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Senior Network Engineer to join their Architecture Engineering and Consulting company as a full time employee. This person will being joining a team of four, and will be responsible for design and implementation, installation and configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting and security. This position will require on call support on an as needed basis. They will be supporting projects where they are building, expanding and deprecating environments. A portion of this role will also require lifecycle management responsibilities; on the software side reviewing code on devices and on the hardware side staying on top of the end of life notifications, ensuring the company has the right models for the size as they expand, as well as capacity management.

Skills and Requirements

- 10+ years of network engineering experience

- 3+ years of experience working in Fortinet (need to have full suite exp/ability to explain what activities they have done)

- Experience mentoring others and working in a small team environment

- Experience designing, developing and implementing network solutions (all in Fortinet)

- Experience administering FortiGate firewalls and SD-Wan technologies

- VPN administration experience (B2B, site to site, VPN to Azure - Federal Government experience

- Experience with security concepts/compliance protocols (NIST, CIS, CMMC, PII, etc) null
