    Job Description

    We are seeking an API Developer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in backend development with a focus on building scalable APIs and microservices. This role is critical in developing robust backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot, with an emphasis on performance, maintainability, and scalability.

     

    Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot

     

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

     

    Write clean, scalable, and testable code following best practices

     

    Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases to build efficient and performant data layers

     

    Implement and maintain solutions using reactive programming paradigms

     

    Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

     

    Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development and production environments

    Skills and Requirements

    69 years of professional software development experience

     

    Strong backend development expertise

     

    Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot

     

    Proficiency in working with both relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases

     

    Solid experience in API development and building microservices

     

    Exposure to and practical experience with reactive programming (e.g., Project Reactor, RxJava, WebFlux) Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes

     

    Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

     

    Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices

    Understanding of security best practices in API development null
