    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Zone Engineer/Engineering Technologist to join a national engineering professional services firm. This individual will be responsible for: Site inspections / field assessments, Electrical service design, Line extension projects, working on Distribution systems, Load calculations GIS mapping / AutoCAD / design software Electrical codes / NEC compliance Construction coordination Permitting and right-of-way.  Youll be responsible for managing small-scale projects for property ownersboth residential and commercialwho need new electrical service or line extensions to their properties. Your role will begin with on-site visits to assess the property and determine the scope of work required.Following your assessment, youll prepare and present a detailed cost estimate to the property owner. Once the proposal is approved, youll oversee the design phase of the project, coordinating with both the customer and internal teams to ensure timely and successful completion. You can expect to have 5-10 projects at a time.
