    Our client, a leader in the procurement industry, is seeking a Capital Equipment Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join their team. As a Capital Equipment Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will be part of the Corporate Indirect Procurement team supporting the Category Strategy Team (CST). The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a collaborative mindset, and a strategic approach which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Capital Equipment Strategic Sourcing Specialist

    **Location:** Charlotte, NC

    **Pay Range:** $79/hr (based on experience)

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for the Equipment - Lease & Rental category, balancing cost, quality, speed, and service.

    + Collaborate cross-functionally with Buying Operations and SBG stakeholders to align and execute category strategies.

    + Drive supplier consolidation and reduce reliance on non-strategic vendors to maximize value and efficiency.

    + Lead negotiations and manage supplier relationships, ensuring alignment with global procurement goals.

    + Deliver year-over-year improvements in cost, working capital, quality, delivery, and supply continuity.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + 3+ years of strategic sourcing experience, including at least 2 years in indirect procurement within a multinational environment.

    + Proven expertise in category management and procurement best practices (e.g., RFX, should-cost models, reverse auctions, contracting).

    + Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.

    + Strong negotiation skills with a track record of setting and executing effective negotiation strategies.

    + Experience working in matrixed, global environments is preferred.
