    Technical Business Systems Analyst (BSA)

     

    Hybrid in Golden Valley, MN (3 days on site)

     

    3-6 Month Contract to Hire

     

    $45/hour

     

    Area: Actuarial Modeling & Systems

    Projects:

    • Annuity New Products – developing test strategies

     

    Seeking a Technical Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with a strong background in financial products and a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

     

    The focus will be on implementing new capabilities or product features as part of the overall Product Policy Value process.

     

    The Analyst will be responsible for authoring user stories, creating calculation requirements, testing strategies and supporting the quality assurance team in test planning and execution/ this is not a requirements eliciting position but someone who can take available information to guide others in execution.

     

    Duration: 3 - 6 months, Contract to Hire (W2 only)

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather and write clear, testable business and technical requirements

    + Work alongside QE and development teams to ensure high-quality delivery

    + Play a hands-on role in requirement documentation and support across the SDLC

    + Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members

    + Financial services and/or insurance project experience in a technical capacity

    + Must have strong documentation and be very analytical

    + Turning documentation into high action deliverables

    + Strong experience in financial services or financial product domains

    + Solid understanding of SDLC principles

    + Proven ability to write detailed business and technical requirements

    + Comfortable taking ownership of requirement gathering and documentation
