    Job Description

    A Fortune 500 client is looking for a remote senior network project manager to join their team for a 12 month contract, possible extensions. As a T&I Project Manager, youll be responsible for leading local and remote teams on projects and other business initiatives in partnership with key stakeholders that support organizational and departmental goals and strategic initiatives. Youll be responsible for managing complex technology and application projects through the entire project life cycle and have the responsibility for ensuring the successful outcome of the projects within defined cost, schedule, and performance boundaries.

     

    Youll conduct productive meetings, manage client expectations and communications from the C-level to individual contributors, adapt plans to respond to changing business priorities, monitor projects and take appropriate action when goals are not met, follow up with clients to make sure that results meet or exceed expectations

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Consideration given to PMI PMP certification in project management or equivalent.

     

    Experience as a Network Engineer in past roles 8+ years of Project Management experience in the IT/Technology and Applications field.

     

    Experience managing technology projects with a base comprehension of networking concepts, including WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, cloud networking, on-prem-to-cloud bridge strategies, FW, AWF, Load balancers, and network security, servers, virtualization, containers, storage, backups, disaster recovery, SaaS, data center implementations & operations.

     

    A base comprehension and respect for Cyber Security principles and protection concepts.

     

    Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Experience with Agile project management in a high technology or Internet-based software development environment a plus. null
