    SUMMARY:

    We are seeking a strategic, collaborative, and results-driven Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team. In this critical role, you will serve as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance, and working collaboratively with the region/assigned practice areas to help plan and execute on people programs supporting our overall business strategy. You will work across all HR functions to align business objectives with people solutions. The Senior HRBP is responsible for a wide range of tasks across all HR practice areas, including employee engagement, performance management, workforce planning, employee relations and compliance with employment laws and standards. This role requires a high degree of autonomy and collaboration with leadership teams to foster a high-performing, inclusive culture.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Build trusted relationships with business leaders to align HR strategies with business goals.

    + Provide HR support with the ability to demonstrate required skills in effective challenge, critical thinking, influence, problem solving, program management and change management.

    + Advise managers and employees to resolve employee relations issues at various levels of complexity including coaching, researching/investigating situations and recommending business driven proactive, and inclusive solutions.

    + Possess current knowledge of legal trends, regulatory changes, best practices in HR, talent management and employment law.

    + Act as an advisor and liaison between the business and HUB’s HR Centers of Excellence to advise and contribute to various programs (including but not limited to employee engagement, performance management, and talent development)

    + Provide coaching to people leaders to elevate succession planning, talent reviews and leadership capability to ensure a high-performing and inclusive team environment.

    + Interpret and share HR data and metrics to provide insights that identify opportunities for improvement and inform decision-making to measure the effectiveness of programs.

    + Lead and support initiatives that enhance culture, belonging, engagement, and leadership effectiveness.

    + Is a contributing member to department initiatives and/or may lead HR projects and processes.

    + May provide leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to others on the HR team.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.

    + 5-7 years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years in an HRBP or similar strategic role.

    + Experience in leadership and/or mentoring is considered an asset.

    + Working knowledge of all HR disciplines including performance management, resource planning, compensation, and employee engagement as well experience working within the Employment Standards Act and Human Rights legislation.

    + Excellent interpersonal, influencing, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build authentic and trusting relationships.

    + Comfort with ambiguity, change and managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality.

    + Strong employee relations experience, including conflict resolution, performance improvement, and terminations.

    + The ability to maintain confidentiality and use the utmost discretion and use sound judgement in sensitive situations.

    + Customer service focused: the ability to communicate consistently and clearly, respond with empathy and professionalism, and manage expectations.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify key information and issues, interpret data, and determine implications, and provide recommendations.

    + Proficiency in Workday/HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) is considered an asset.

    _The expected salary range for this position is_ _$95,000-115,000_ _and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits such as vacation, sick, and personal days, and eligible bonuses, equity and commissions for some positions._
