Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will assist the Director, Medical Director and Physicist in directing all aspects of care provided by the Medical Imaging Department. What You Will Do In This Role:

* You will be responsible for all aspects of care including but not limited to; procedures, treatments, quality improvement, quality control and other related duties.

* You will produce ultrasonic images of internal organs for use by Physician in diagnostic of disease.

* You will study the malfunction of organs by performing the listed duties.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• Current certification with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registered in OB.

• Fetal Nuchal Translucency and Nasal Bone Certification through the Fetal Medicine Foundation. If the NT or NB certification was not obtained through the Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF), employee has one (1) year from the date of hire to convert to the FMF credentialing. If previously held certification lapses, employee has three months post expiration to renew license; during this time employee is only allowed to scan applicable exams with a certified NT or NB preceptor.

• Current Registry in Fetal Echocardiography (FE) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).

• At least five (5) years previous of verifiable experience as an MFM Sonographer

• BLS certification as per SDH policy
