Overview
The Dartmouth Cancer Center (DCC) is one of only 53 NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers and the only one north of Boston and east of Buffalo. DCC is committed to providing access to research-based, high-quality care, advanced technologies, and clinical trials for patients throughout northern New England. Its research, clinical care, and training are integrated at the Cancer Center with priority on translation of innovation, interdisciplinary care, team science, and career development.
We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team or providers. This person will function as an integral part of a multidisciplinary clinical oncology group to administer to the needs of patients and families.
Overview:
* Assess and manage the healthcare needs of patients within the hematology oncology specialty area
* Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis and treatment options
* Manage acute toxicities of treatment as well as late effects and survivorship challenges
* No weekends and no call helps provide a great work/life balance
* An academic appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College will be awarded
* Opportunity to participate in clinical research, QI projects, and the APP annual retreat

Requirements:
* Clinical expertise and organizational skills
* Experience in oncology
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
Responsibilities
Qualifications
* Graduate of an accredited APRN or PA academic program
* National specialty certification as FNP, PNP, Acute or Primary Care A-GNP, WHNP or certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
Required Licensure/Certifications
- Eligible for RN licensure in the State of NH (APRN only)
- Eligible for APRN or PA licensure in the State of NH
- Eligible for Federal DEA Registration
- BLS certification
