    Senior Program Manager, Middle Mile Fleet Campaign Management, Middle Mile Fleet Programs & Compliance (Level 6)

     

    Amazon's Middle Mile is looking for a detail-oriented, technically skilled, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Senior Program Manager. In this role, you will drive innovation in Amazon's Middle Mile Transportation network. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience partnering with technical teams, managing stakeholders and customers, managing multiple priorities and deadlines, and delivering strong results. Technical knowledge and understanding are a plus. This person must have a high degree of autonomy with the ability to navigate ambiguous problems, develop solutions, and drive projects forward with minimal guidance. They must be able to think strategically, yet execute methodically to deliver to the highest standards. This person has excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the aptitude to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to varied audiences. They will have a strong entrepreneurial orientation and a desire to build things from scratch and willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary in a start-up like environment.

     

    A day in the life

     

    Define both long term strategy and short term plans to achieve program goals and deliver business results.

     

    Define, prioritize and plan resources and technical requirements needed for programs to be delivered on time.

     

    Work with external parties in order to generate program adoption and ensure a successful implementation.

     

    Write business cases, perform supporting research and analysis, write specifications, and drive product development from design to release.

     

    You will be required to have clear, precise, and regular communication with all stakeholders for program/product status reports as well as leadership reviews.

    Drive change management and adoption of solution across Ops teams

    Manage post-launch activities (user support, new feature development, etc.)

     

    Establish KPIs, identify gaps, and improve performance and adoption of program/product.

     

    Deep dive problems or opportunity areas and propose solutions to address.

     

    Generate new ideas to drive improvement, efficiency and automation across the transportation supply chain.

    Basic Qualifications

    - 3+ years of team management experience

     

    - 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

     

    - Bachelor's degree

     

    - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

    Preferred Qualifications

    - Experience working with a cross-functional team across design, operations, and engineering team to meet high-reaching goals

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $134,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $222,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
