This role provides the opportunity to work within the Network Solutions Business Unit of Leviton Manufacturing Company Inc. About the role Lead the design, development, and deployment of programmed solutions that seamlessly integrate testing hardware and software systems. These solutions are aimed at improving operational efficiency, ensuring product quality, and driving innovation in our manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Design, develop, and integrate programmed hardware and software systems for testing in manufacturing. Ensure smooth operation through programming, debugging, validation, and continuous improvement. Implement and validate API integrations for testing equipment. Resolve communication issues and maintain comprehensive documentation and training materials. Design and manage SQL databases, optimize queries, and ensure performance, security, and compliance. Support integration with applications and maintain documentation. Develop and support Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions integrated with ERP systems. Analyze production data, provide user support, and maintain system documentation to ensure seamless operations. Qualifications Technical Skills Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and hardware and software integration Hands-on experience with MES platforms such as Siemens, Opcenter and Rockwell FactoryTalk Proficient in hardware and software testing tools Skilled in API development and testing using tools like Postman and SoapUI Proficient in programming languages including Python, Java, and C++, C# Experienced in data modeling and database design Advanced knowledge of SQL and database systems such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server Familiar with Microsoft technologies including Team Foundation Server, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, IIS, Windows Server, and Windows 11 Behavioral Skills Analytical Skills – Analyze data to make informed decisions Attention to Detail – Ensure accuracy in work product, documentation, and processes to maintain high standards Communication – Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with coworkers, along with internal and external customers and key stakeholders Critical Thinking – Ability to think critically and make informed decisions to optimize performance Decision Maker – Ability to select best course of action from various alternatives to achieve desired outcomes.
