    Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sentinel **Support and Training SEIT Manager 3, Deputy to the Director** . This position is located in **Roy, UT** and supports the Sentinel program.

    What You Will Get To Do:

    As Sr. Manager reporting to the Support and Training (S&T) Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) Director, you will be responsible for providing execution leadership for the planning and performance of systems engineering activities across the S&T portfolio. You will be responsible for technical oversight, programmatic oversight, and on-schedule development of systems engineering products as the primary delegate to the S&T SEIT Director. You will be expected to manage day to day operations of the S&T SEIT team which consists of engineers executing SEIT scope across Support Equipment, Major Maintenance Vehicles, and the Training System. In this position, the Deputy Lead must understand the detailed program road-map to major program events and the responsibilities of the S&T SEIT team to meet event and contractual criteria.

    This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

    You’ll Bring These** **Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) discipline and 8 years of related experience

    • A minimum of 3 years in a formal management position leading a team of engineers

    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Systems Engineering and/or integration & test (requirements, interfaces, architecture, and/or verification)

    • Demonstrated experience in Earned Value Financial Management (EVMS).

    • Experience in milestone planning and execution to completion (e.g. Design Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, etc.)

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years, current and within scope.

    • Must have an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) and DoD Top Secret clearance approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.

    These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

    • Demonstrated ability to lead large teams (20+)

    • Ability to execute a staff plan and associated workforce scaling

    • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to brief Segment, Program, and Customer leadership

    • Experience leading interdisciplinary, major program event efforts on defense or aerospace programs (e.g. PDR/CDR/FCA/SVR)

    • Experience working across multiple functional organizations (Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Field Operations, etc.).

    • Experience in Sustainment, Support Equipment and/or Training Systems Engineering

    • Design experience

    • Extensive Model Based Systems Engineering MBSE experience (5+ years)

    • Experience as an Engineering Leader in all phases of acquisition, design, integration, and execution. Candidate will require ability to rapidly assess and lend guidance to projects assigned to the organizational group as well as demonstrated mentoring and guidance to engineers.

    • Experience with complex system development on large programs

    • Experience verifying requirements

    • Experience in system sell-off and delivery to the customer

    • Active TS Clearance

     

    Salary Range: $161,500.00 - $242,300.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
